Project
UniME - Laboratory of Catalysis for Sustainable Production and Energy (CASPE)
The research activities cover many field of herogeneous catalysis (including photo- and electro-catalysis and plasma-catalysis) and the development of related sustainable processes, technologies and devices for chemical production and energy, and environment protection. Solar-driven chemistry and energy, and circular economy are the main topics on which research is focused. More info at ww2new.unime.it/catalysis
UAntwerp - Plasma Lab for Applications in Sustainability and Medicine (PLASMANT)
The research activities cover plasma and plasma-surface interactions by means of computer modelling and experiments, for various applications, CO2 conversion and N2 fixation into value-added chemicals and fuels, plasma medicine, microelectronics and nanotechnology, analytical chemistry. More info at PLASMANT.
Univ. Warwick- Energy Intensified Reactor Engineering Lab
The current research is at the interface between material nano-engineering and catalytic reactor engineering with a strong focus on the application of nonconventional energy sources, such as microwave, radiofrequency fields and UV light, to activate catalysts and to intensify reaction and transport processes.. More info at this link.
Spin-out company
Stoli Catalysts has created a brand-new catalyst coating technology offering more energy efficient, lower capital investment and higher quality production techniques. The company is already working with a number of well-known companies on a national and international level to both test and prove its technology. Professor Rebrov is a director of the company.
Univ. Adelaide- Hessel Research Lab
The research of Hessel's group is focusing on pharmaceutical engineering, including flow chemistry and microreactor. More info at this link.
TUe - Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry
SUSTAINABLE PROCESS ENGINEERING. Development of new processes based on improved mass and heat transfer rates for a more efficient, environmentally friendly, circular, and distributed production of chemicals, using new sources of raw materials and energy. SPE will lead the way to the future of chemicals production with the safest and most sustainable ways of producing chemicals. More info at this link.
