The
Department
of Mathematics of
Messina
University
organizes the International Conference and Summerschool
Thermocon'05 in Messina (Sicily,
Italy) from
September 25th-30th 2005.
The program of the conference
will include a number of invited lectures and contributed
papers. The language of the conference will be English.
The
Symposium will take place at Aula Magna of the Central
University of Messina, in Tommaso Cannizzaro Street.The
conference is dedicated to the memory of Professor
Gerrit Alfred Kluitenberg .

Messina
is connected with Catania
airport by SAIS
bus and with Reggio
Calabria airport by direct shuttle bus.
If you decide to arrive
to Messina from Calabria region you can across the
Stretto di Messina by boat with Tourist
Ferry Boat , NGI
, from Villa S. Giovanni and Reggio Calabria .
If you decide to arrive
to Messina from Campania region you can take the boat
Tirrenia
from Naples.
It is also possible to arrive in Messina from Palermo
by train.

| The partecipants are kindly asked to make
hotel reservations by themselves. You can find the list
of Messina hotels near the meeting site here. |

The summary of your talk (or poster) in english in Latex format
( following this form  )
not exceeding two page should be submitted to the
Organizing Committe together with the registration
form. Sending it latest until June
30th 2005. A book of all abstracts
will be distribuited to the conference partecipants.
It is planned to publish the contributions of Conference.

The registration fee will include admittance to
the session, the booklet of abstract, refreshments
during coffe breaks and a contribution for the conference
dinner that will be held at

Hotel . Conference Thermocon'05

| The
September weather in Messina is usually hot and humid
with temperature ranges from 23°C to 28°C and
humidity near 70 per cent. Short sleeves and cotton
clothes work best, with a lightweight sweater for indoors
tend to set air-conditioning on high. An umbrella or
hat works well to ward off the sun. All conference sessions
will be held in air-conditioned venues. |

alternating current and the voltage is 220 Volts/frequency
